Bay Breeze Half

When my childhood friend, Jasmine, posted on Facebook that she had signed up for The Bay Breeze Half Marathon in San Leandro I had to join her. This is where I'd run about once a week when we lived there. Unfortunately it was a cold and rainy weekend. I did not bring any of my rain gear for running. I borrowed a garbage bag from the hotel lobby and wore it to the starting line. The rain let up for the majority of the race but started pouring again soon after I finished.

I finished fifth in my age group and I was the nineth woman overall. Here are the official results.
